TRC – Transformation Reef Cameroun- recently announced the successful FSC forest management certification of yet another concession. The area is located north of the
Korup National Park and is about 55.000 ha.
With the new certification TRC has a total of 150.000 Ha FSC certified rainforest. Additionally an area of 73.000 ha is now undergoing certification and is expected to be FSC certified in 2011. This will mean more FSC certified timber from Cameroun, which can be supplied by TRACER.

The entire FSC area will grow to 223.000 making TRC a significant FSC company in Cameroun which currently has 705.000 ha FSC certified forests.
Protection of divers wildlife
The area around Mount Cameroun is still intact and well protected and holds an extremely divers and versatile rainforest. The wildlife is amazing and the forests are home to a variety of big mammals including endangered species such as the forest elephant, the forest buffalo, the leopard, the drills and many others. Hydraulic construction timber to Europe
The forest in the Congo bassin holds several hundred tree species. The most abundant and interesting in terms of timberproduction being Azobe, Okan, Tali, Bilinga and Iroko.
